Education
After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science, Dr. Allen Gandy entered Baylor College of Dentistry to become a dentist. He graduated at the top of his class and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with highest academic honors. As one of only three residents chosen each year, he served at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he completed his postdoctoral specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, and his Master of Science in oral biology.
Continuing Education
Dr. Allen Gandy has been a leader in orthodontics. He regularly gives continuing education lectures to other dental professionals about the latest advances in orthodontics. Recognized for his clinical and research achievements, he has been honored with distinguished awards from the American Association for Dental Research, the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, and the Southwest Prosthodontic Society.
He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. He is a Diplomate and board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, as well as a member of the College of Diplomates of American Board of Orthodontics.
Family Life
Outside the office, Dr. Gandy enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons. He also enjoys playing golf, intense workouts, running, snow skiing, reading, and traveling.
